Safeguarding & Student Welfare
At GozenArts, the safety and welfare of every student are our absolute priority.
We recognize that for a child to express themselves creatively—to sing, act, and dance—they must first feel safe, valued, and protected.
Our Safeguarding Policy is aligned with international best practices and the standards upheld by top International Schools in Thailand.
1. Safe Recruitment & Background Checks
We do not hire "casual" tutors. Every member of the Gozen Arts faculty, guest director, and administrative staff undergoes a checkup process before joining the team.
Criminal Background Checks: All staff must provide a clear criminal record check from the Royal Thai Police and/or their home country (DBS/FBI equivalent).
Reference Verification: We verify employment history and references to ensure a spotless track record in working with children.
Safeguarding Training: All staff receive training on Child Protection and identifying signs of distress.
2. Physical Safety & Campus Security
Your child is secure from the moment they arrive until you pick them up.
Secure Access: Our studios in Ari (Saki Studio) and Rama 9 (Bravo BKK) operate with monitored entry. No unauthorized adults are permitted in the classrooms.
Pick-Up Protocol: We strictly release students only to pre-authorized parents or guardians. If a nanny or driver is picking up your child, we require prior notification.
CCTV Monitoring: Common areas and studio entrances are monitored to ensure transparency and safety.
3. Anti-Bullying & Emotional Wellbeing
We have a Zero-Tolerance Policy for bullying, harassment, or exclusion.
The "Inclusive Studio" Promise: Our classes are designed to build confidence. Any behavior that undermines another student—whether physical, verbal, or social exclusion—is addressed immediately.
Pastoral Care: We believe arts education is emotional work. Our teachers are trained to spot changes in behavior and provide a supportive ear to students who may be struggling with anxiety or confidence issues.
4. Digital Safety & Photography
In the digital age, protecting your child's privacy is vital.
The "No Phones" Rule: Students are encouraged to keep phones stored during class to focus on the work and prevent unauthorized photos.
Official Media Only: We only publish photos/videos of students whose parents have given consent. You have the right to opt-out of social media features at any time.
